Forge Qustion

I just got Forge and friends running with BasiliskII, and I'm haveing a few problems, 1) It won't let my play marathon because it needs a 13 inch or larger moniter that displays color. The box that this message comes in has a nice color border, and I have something like a 17 inch moniter. Also, when in visual mode in forge, I can't figure out how to get colors and such, and that makes placing texures alot harder. Any ideas?
