Yes, but there are no puzzles in Halo, no figuring out what switches do. Its just so much simpler. The game itself is very linear, no matter the story. The whole game seems like one big hallway. There's no exploration or anything.

The multiplayer is fantastic I agree, but the single player is atrocious.
