Well, I don't know much, but I can fill in a few blanks at least.
1. The S'pht (which are pronounced Sfit, if you were actually asking) were created by Yrro, who may or may not be the Jjaro race. This part is explained in both Durandal and Infinity, but never really devled into.
2. I didn't think that the S'pht we see were "Pfhor made"... as far as I knew, the S'pht couldn't live without their impants, and it is also explained somewhere that they are actually born with implants, or are given them shortly after birth, or something. But the bottom line is that I don't think that they are using Pfhor implants, or whatever.
3. It was never explained. They use the transport effect when they die, but you never actually learn if they teleport or just disappear. Maybe the dead's impants are reused by newborns? Who knows.
