I don't remember trying this with you... Unless this was some long time ago. I have had great experience by playing through TCP/IP. Even with Aussies. Still i remember that problem popping up sometimes, but that was few months ago. If there is a firewall or router problem then you can't even gather the players in or not even see them so yeah.. Still, have you tried a game with fewer people? only 2 players could work. if that doesn't, try changing hosts. Or sometimes maybe leave some people to try to find out who is having the problem. You guys could also try downloading the latest nightly build and check if that works any better.

PS: NO SCHOOL TODAY BECAUSE OF SNOWSTORM!! WEEE... sorry.. had to say this :-)
PSS: Dorfie will go to school! hah! poor Dorfie, he lives on south iceland... had to say this too! :-D

: Can anyone explain to me why Aleph One refuses to play TCP/IP?

: Me and someone else (DcBob) were trying to get it to work, as well as me and
: Corbeu and some other people, and the same problem keeps persisting: We
: see each other just fine in the pregame loading, we load, and then right
: as we start off we cannot move or shoot or do anything. We are frozen in
: place until the client disconnects, leaving the host (me) to wander around
: alone. This happens every single time.

: We had the same exact versions of a1, and neither of us were behind a
: firewall. What could possibly explain this?
