I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this has been spotted before! But still, just in case, I recently came across a rather cryptic rune hidden away in the depths of Cyan Worlds’ Uru …

For reference, this is taken from the third major puzzle in the age Kadish Tolesa.
This symbol is one of several junk symbols, designed to obscure the puzzle’s solution. Much like a few of the other symbols, it doesn’t have any meaning in the context of Uru – at least, not that I could figure out! Given Cyan’s strong relationship with Macs early on, it would be nice to think that one of the designers put this in as a subtle nod to a certain Mac favourite.
Of course, it could just be a coincidence. After all, this screenshot shows the puzzle from the back – so all the symbols, including this one, are upside down!
