In Response To: Marathon Infinity: the Story: Prologue (Philtron)

... the manual timeline? It's almost diametrically opposed to the Prologue timeline, although both timelines differ drastically from the M2 timeline. In this one, Tfear and the Western Arm of Battle Group Seven anticipate Durandal's arrival and go to L'howon first. Durandal shows up, destroys the garrison fleet, then gets ambushed by the Pfhor. His ship gets disabled, and he retreats to the Aye Mak Sicur station. Then, even though the battle's basically over at this point, Tfear fires the trih zeem anyway, just to be an asshole. Durandal somehow knows about the W'rkncacnter despite not having explored L'howon at all (how?) and sends a warning, which Tfear of course ignores, leading to everyone getting turned into spaghetti by the negative space wedgie.

What was that all about?
