: calling the Pfhor).
Oh, I see, interesting. You didn't take it as a literal, there were corporeal Jjarro that watched the events of M1 unfold as much as there were remnants of their civilization and tech there. That opens up a whole other line of questioning going back to the quote from the Inifinity epilogue about being "grafted to machines your creators didn't understand." What if the UNSC knew there was an ancient advanced civ out there, either from PiD or coming across other ruins, then did they choose Tau Ceti as a destination because of the Jjarro ruins there? Is that why they assigned Strauss to the Marathon?
