Mostly stuck to the items because those are a bit more inexplicable; IIRC the monsters are explicitly created by the W'rk.

Hadn't thought of any of them being memories of creatures from Lh'owon; it's entirely possible. Zombies and Ghasts might be mockeries of the humans (or worse, the Jjaro, if one theorizes that they were similar or identical to humans); maybe Sentinels, too.

Looking at the Big Blue Meanies--well, they're dark blue, and their arms are tipped with shiny green things that they fire from. S'pht'Kr?

@LOC: Never considered Muller and the W'rk being in cahoots; perhaps he offended the demon by making a detour for the gold and got mulched for it.

Not sure if the W'rk would need the crystals, unless the Jjaro sufficiently weakened it to the point that it couldn't use all of its natural abilities.

Had to look up colloidal silver--I guess the blue potion could have some of that in it.
