Not unless you have duel light sabres handy plus the portable Halo (the wave motion cannon) for emergencies. The one failure dream with nothing but banshees is very difficult though. I like the PID W'rk's dialog in the opening terminal.

He comes off like Solaris' physical alter ego Mephiles and Solaris' grandson Ahriman; both being gods of darkness.

and yes; Leela (or was it Hathor?) tells us that the W'rk on the empty station on the Sol system is the same one we saw part of in PID. The Jjaro gave him the "Yrro time out" after they arrived in 1996.
