: I can say with experimentation it's an indexing problem. If the map is ever
: moved from it's original index, it botches up the indexes of the rest of

I've encountered this bug too on both of my full playthroughs of PID. I don't know why it happens. When I reach this room in the ToD, I may just skip the conversation to avoid botching up my game.
I first thought he only glitched out when asking him about Muller but it may happen anyway.
If I do talk to him, I'd need to use the Anywhere cheat to save beforehand so I don't have to trek all the way back, fighting ghouls and oozes when I restart the game then reload.
