Is it considered cheating to know to turn off the light on the way up? The guy that warns you about it is really far away from this end. The cool thing is that the infrared goggles are just as good with the flashlight turned off... it's something I experimented with before, and I can imagine someone fiddling with it randomly stumbling on this solution... but you wouldn't have the goggles UNLESS you went the other way. It's another die if you do, die if you don't choice between the paths! It looks like Bungie demands the players to do backtracking one way or the other.
