About That Monitor...

Many of you may know that Bungie seems to hold a (not so) secret obsession with the numbers 3, 7, and 10. I had a bizarre realization just now. I'm sure it's just coincidence, but that's probably the case with a lot of things. Suppose you start at the number zero. To get to 3, you have to go up 3 - that should be obvious.

So the first number of note is 3.

Now, to get from 3 to 7, you have to go up 4.

So the second number of note is 4.

Finally, to get from 7 to 10, you to go up 3.

So the third number of note is 3.

Put the numbers together, in a row. 3, 4, 3. 343.

There's more than one meaning to the number.
