I may experiment with that soon. However, I do like the dark lettering - it just feels right. As for shifting the logo's color, it may prove slightly difficult. If you didn't realize, most all of the banners I've done are made in Keynote, at which point I take a screenshot, upload that to imgur, and then of course link to it here. That makes it more tricky to change the color of details like that, because there's not that many ways to change the color of an image in Keynote.
