: Oh god, not the Pfhlood! Would you please stop humming, Durandal?!? ....
: Sorry, this level and its remake have given me Post-Traumatic Door
Huh, funny how I never even thought of those two as being similar. Come to think of it, they really are pretty similar: ledges that fill up with loads of enemies wielding ARs and other such weapons, with doors that don't open nearly as fast as they ought to, all the while you're just running through this gauntlet wondering "Seriously? You could've teleported me in anywhere you wanted to and you had to pick this particular point, all the way back at the start of the gauntlet? Go ahead and hum, I'm just gonna pick up what we came for, and then I'm high-tailin' it outta here! What's that? You need me to do something more? Oh, like this wasn't enough!" And then you continue talking to yourself, nonchalantly blasting your foes into oblivion and grumbling about how low your pay is. And yet somehow you stick around, wondering "Why am I still here?" It's a mystery; you just can never bring yourself to leave. With all your might, you'd think you would've left by now, but no, you just have to suck up the hell everyone is throwing at you - even your own master seems to be complicit in nearly getting you killed ("Hmm, how unfortunate. Hmm-hmm-hm!"), as crazy as it seems. Why don't you just leave?
Oh hell, why grumble about it...
