Is there a male/female division of the species? If so, what would a female look like? (not too heavy on the details, please)
It's pretty obvious that the S'pht races do not have genders... at least that's what I think. Would it be reasonable to assume sexual reproduction is common throuought the universe, or could it be something unique to Earth, and galactically separated beings may have adapted something else? Flowers are both male and female, laying eggs AND spreading fertilization through the air. Maybe other species could be both... or neither. All the terminals refer to important pfhor characters as a 'he', but could this be taken with a grain of salt, since most creatures are automatically assumed to be male before confirmation? Likewise, vehicles like ships are usually deemed female, like that spaceship named after their thunder goddess or whatever. Oh dear god. If they have a thunder goddess, I guess that pretty much confirms there are males and females, making this a waste of forum space. Still, I wonder what a female looks like. Those girls must be sad and sorry for being born so ugly and without hair (and two brains? What the heck?).
