Actually one of my favorite levels of the scenarion.
Great battles, decent flow, puzzles that made me think, good use of Lookers.
Playing through it again, it reminds me quite a bit of a rough combination of M1's Couch Fishing and The Rose in layout, monster and ammo placement, huge battles and switch hunting.
Could have used another revision, but hey, it works for me.
Played the M2 version of the level too, and... well, it doesn't work so well. The textures there, lack of Wasps really change the feeling, the flow of the thing.
Would be interesting to play through M1A1 style.
Wait, hold on... would that even be possible?
Far as I'm aware, the M2 DiaBD is just the map... but yeah, using M2 Pfhor sprites and layouts, changes and such. Nevermind.
Guess there's not much chance of someone porting the M1 DiaBD to M1A1 this late in the game, eh?
