So, I'm playing Marathon 2: Durandal. Or, more appropriately - Marathon 2: Butterfeet WaterRetarded. Needless to say, the way the game is currently treating underwater controls is completely unnacceptable - moving forward seems to force the player upwards, making going through underwater doorways a case of "bob up and down 4 or 5 times until you can go through the door without being forced upward right in front of the door." Since Aleph One has an option to change the phyiscs pack, is there any where I can find these kinda things to download? To modify it so 'swimming' is merely 'going the direction the gun is pointed'? Or at least something to make me have infinite air. If I can't fix the flaw one way, I gotta do it another way. |
