Are there "unfinished" stories in Marathon?

Are there "unfinished" stories in Marathon? Things such as Gherrit White or the other strange terminal on Never Burn Money.
What about the dream terminals? Are these unfinished stories, or do they all connect in some mysterious way? ;)
There is a noticable gap on the story page about these terminals, so if I'm starting to rehash just slap me and I'll whine.
First:
Never Burn Money (Terminal 4)
Could this be talking about Pthia? There is a noticable lack of female characters in Marathon, the few being Leela, Pthia, this "she", the schoolteacher Gheritt refers to, the woman from the dream terminals, and the "she" from the kytterm.
John Gendreau pointed out the similarity between this term and the kyt term.
But what about Pthia? Could this be Pthia fighting something?
Anywoo, I'll see what you guys have to think about that for now. There are few other places a tie like this could lead... is the kyt term talking about Yrro?
How many places is there a bitter-sweet love or pair of lovers?
