Well, I've compared the first level in the original M1 Trojan and in the M2/Win/AO port. There are two things of note - a flashing red ceiling light is missing in the latter, as is an alarm sound. I suppose that either of these could be giving rise to that tube thingy, but who knows. Also, the other people on this intro level do not move as fluidly, and one even gets caught under and crushed by a door. Strange.
I've got Trojan working with AO now and everything works, including the music. I'll probably start playing it after the Eternal Volunteers Series is finished, if I still have time by then. As noted in my old post, as referenced by Andrew Nagy below, 3X shield recharges do not work in some places. I don't think it's critical, but it may help to enable cheat codes to get around this problem, provided people are honest in using NRG only where there is a malfunctioning recharger.
