Opening .bin files?

I'm just wondering, are there any relatively simple programs for opening .bin files like a .zip, .hqx, or .sit file or maybe a convertor? Playing all the scenarios on Aleph One is great, and I'm almost done with Evil, but all the Rubicon and Tempus Irae files are in .bin format and give an error when I try to uncompress them.
