Initially Active need to be flagged on Terms?

Does the "Initially Active" check box need to be flagged in Forge for *all* non-switches? (i.e: Patten Buffers, O2 / Energy rechargers, or even Reading-terminals?)

I'm just checking some of WMaiDs' maps with the Chisel pugin "what dat tag do den" [sic] and it reports that almost every instance of a switch (or any kind) isn't flagged as initially active. Yet.. they work properly. They always have. It is necessary to have these flagged as active?

The only use of that flag I thought was to differentiate between Initially ON and the "Light Dependant" switch type (as in, if you wanted a terminal or Charger ONLY accessable once a light/triggered by a TAG has been activated in a level).

I'd appreciate the advice.
