However, it's the only excuse Bungie needs. The simple fact is that Bungie has done HALO and now they're 'done' with it. They aren't interested in going back and doing HALO: Combat Evolved Some More or HALO 1.5 or whatever else you wanna call XBL compatible HALO. They want to work on a new game that will do everything that HALO did, only better. That means better graphics, cooler story, more guns and vehicles, scarier enemies and yes, improved multiplyer, including XBL support. Is this a bummer? Yes. I'm sure just about everyone on this forum would like nothing better than to meet up on XBL and frag the snot out of each other. But that's not going to happen. For better or for worse, Bungie is going to ignore the demands of some of their fans (i.e, those who clamour for XBL support for HALO), and are instead going to concentrate on their own desire to build better games that aren't just quick cash-ins on an established name.
