I noticed there's no mention on here of the following recorded talk from IGDA 08 concerning the Halo 3 flood levels: http://vimeo.com/14139417 Vic DeLeon and Michael Zak talks about the level and artistic design of Floodgate and Cortana. All sorts of fun behind-the-scenes stuff is covered, ranging from "mandatory alien sphincter doors" to flood mass BBQ textures.
