Hey everyone, it's been a while! I created the Halo2 and Halo3 PC stats tracker (I wanted to do Halo Reach, but work got the better of me). Well, I've covered every Penny Arcade Expo, and was really excited that Halo Fest was here this year! I was sad that I couldn't spend the entire time absorbing all things Halo, but the moments I got on the floor were truly wonderful. Wish I heard about the HBO breakfast! I thought I'd pop back in and share some great photosynths that I created (a tool that maps the photos into three-dimensional space). I was able to get a few hundred shots of the City Battle Diorama, and the synth turned out quite well. But the real coup de grāce was the synth of the Warthog, fully manned by two ODSTs and a Spartan. I was setting up for an unmanned synth after hours, when four guys walked in for a photo shoot. When they were done, they were willing to pose for my subsequent shots. Thanks guys! I also have 118 HaloFest photos on SmugMug, and a subset of the best 58 on Flickr.
