CALLING ALL ARTISTS! GRAPHIC DESIGNERS! PAINTERS! LOGO DESIGNERS! PHOTOSHOP PEOPLE! I have a very important job, for those who want to recieve some cool Halo gifts! I am doing a contest where Any artist or person who has "skills" create a logo/banner for my blog: Joes Web. I haven't started the blog yet, because I want to post the winning logo on their when I create it. Anyhow, here is what I need you to do: 1. Come up with a design that features a logo and horizental banner featuring: - A spider web consisting of words at the end of each string: - Gamer - Video Editer - Disabilities - Documentry - College Student - Dogiojoe's Avatar (full body or gamer picture) in the middle of the web (type in dogiojoe to look for my avatar and picture)
- The Colors (any shade): Blue, Green, Red (You can use black and white but see grading material below for reference of how much) - It must be big enough where it can be shrinked or enlarged without distorting the picture. - In the small right hand corner, in small but readable print- I need your signitature showing that this was your work. Extra points for those who can make it into a flash web intro/banner for the blog. Note that the design does NOT have to be made in flash but for those who want to make it, will get extra consideration. Ok now that you know what I would like in the design, here is how I'll grade each entry: Originallity- 25% or 25 points
Total: 100% or 100 points All designs MUST be original artwork! Or they will not be accepted! So what are the prizes you might ask? Grand Prize: The choice of either: A sealed copy of Halo Legends DVD Standard Edition Or The Halo Novel collection of books 1-3 The person with the highest score will get to choose which prize he/she wants. The winnin design will be posted on the blog, and will be featured upon request. The winner will also be given the choice to be on my graphic design committee when production starts on my documentry (est: 8 months to 2 years). Please email all entrys with your name, address (so I can ship your prize if you win), your email, and age (parent permission requried for winning entry to be used if winner is under 18).
