| Halo figurines & Bungie at SIGGRAPH | |

I noticed the post on the HBO homepage about the Halo-related figurines "printed" by Objet that were display in their booth at SIGGRAPH this week. I attended SIGGRAPH and snapped a couple pics today with my iPhone. Imagine my surprise just now to see news about these figurines posted on HBO already! Yeah, Engadget's shots are better, but figured I ought to share my own shots as well! :) Also, Bungie was present at the conference, in the "job fair" area. Recruiting for new hires, of course. Lead recruiter Kari Erickson was there with two other recruiters (whose names I unfortunately can't remember at the moment). They were all very friendly & cool! Woot! There were a few swag items there... magnetic bookmarks, bottle openers (yess!!), transparent-background Bungie logo stickers, Bungie Aerospace stickers, some little clip things (which I can't remember the proper word for), and there were apparently some mini action figures which were gone by the time I got there. Apparently these figures were comparable to typical green army men. Well, I was going to post iPhone pics I took earlier, but now I'll take some DSLR shots instead, just for the heck of it. I thought it was pretty cool they were giving this stuff out! Makes me wonder what kind of cool small stuff like this I've missed in the past, really! haha :P
