Suffering economic decline, Russia invades the United States from the east and west. American forces are caught off guard and decimated. A small band of survivors makes their way to a military rendezvous in the Rocky Mountains. In part one of the final episode, the Americans prepare what defenses they can and reminisce upon the prior events of the war. Soldiers of War was originally a Halo 2 series, and this episode was written for Halo 3. Since Halo: Reach was released, the second half of the episode has not been finished because of a lack of volunteers for in-game filming sessions.
