Any game in development is bound to crash or freeze sometimes. As we fixed the bugs, the game became much, much more stable. We've had machines running for days at a time without any problems. If I had a buck for every time I've gone to a store like Toys R Us and seen a broken console sitting forlorn in its kiosk, I could make a nice down payment on a big house. There's any number of explanations for a handful of misbehaving boxes, and so far there's just this one article about it. Meanwhile, I'm surrounded by a bunch of Xboxes and devkits, none of which have crashed in a long time. I don't think it's as big a deal as some people are making it out to be. -Matt | |
