Add Halo Online feature after release... | |

I just thought i'd post something which got me thinking about Halo's online situation. If anyone's interested, here's the link to the XboxIGN article about Dead or Alive 3 and the inclusion of it's online feature AFTER it's Nov 8th US release... http://xbox.ign.com/news/38191.html Now I may be mistaken, but isn't this the first time any developer/MS offical who has un/offically announced the ability to add the online component to a game AFTER it's released by using the harddrive??? If this is the case, then Bungie would be rather cruel by choosing not to add the last link in the chain so to speak, just so they can focus immediately on another project considering how many people have followed the progress of this game over so many years.
Hell, even if Bungie feel like it's not worth it for the Xbox crowd then at least pass on the job to some people in another area of MS or SOMETHING and allow for this to happen. To simply ignore it for the sake of it is very bad. Before hand there was no code (until last week i think) and also no one really had any word of developers actually doing something like this til DoD3 developer. Please Bungie please! (I know I know, there's a pc/mac version coming out but jeez not everyone can afford upgrading all the time.) |
