In Response To: Re: OT: Help Matt Save His PowerBook (TangentPlane) I recently had this happen on a Bronze G3 that was only solve-able by a new power connection on the back of the Powerbook. Not fun, not cheap, and not easy. To many hits to that stupid powercord that sticks out eventually can get the best of the connector within the Powerbook I guess. I hope this is something else and not what I encountered. At least the one that it happened on is not my Firewire Powerbook. I do pay more attention to that power connector getting bumped now though.
