Why "Met on Halo" and not "Met on XBL"?

Fresh off of the AP Wire. Yeah, I know, "Fox News, blah blah."

But if you ask me, headlines like this are "almost" irresponsible. I understand that more of the unaware public will recognize "Halo", but the network that they were one is Xbox Live. Is it not?
