As for cosmetic. You will notice that the pieces changing shape or falling off does not interfere with the damagezones really.. They can indicate how much it has been damaged, but you can make it explode without bulking it also.. That was the point. I`m not saying it is inconsistent, however. Yes, I played by myself, so I couldn`t really tell if the damage was the same with or without a driver. It would be stupid if the same rules didn`t apply WITH a driver as well.. But how am I to tell. The turret (The Gauss turret) just seemed invincible to me. That is, not a scratch, no smoking, after 9 sniper clips. Since the armored surfaces only took 12 shots (2 1/2 clips) I still only said "I think" it can take pretty much anything. Perhaps someone has to be in it.
