I looked at the pics again, in particular the last one. Now the grey elite on the right looks like the same one as on keyes (beginning where you get active camo). In the corner he looks grey, launch his body down the hall and it becomes evident that he is a dead camo elite. He even said he replaced the characters with camo elites. This leads me to conclude that the camo elites have a silver/grey base color, with a kind of iridescent quality. It doesn't show up in the dark (or with the flashlight either), but in environmental lighting it develops the bluish sheen. After throwing a blue/purple/black elite body into the dark & not finding the slightest bit of color, I surmise a similar quality with the spec ops. This is just mine & my brothers experience. We were amazed at how dark the body got. We couldnt see a difference between the armor and body, that is how black they got. I am willing to concede to the possibility, I just haven't seen it yet:) | |
