In Response To: Vehicles in MP on XBC (Varsis Erion) : Do all the people in the game need to have modded Xboxes, or just the game : creator? All edited maps need to be identical. Meaning, if you make hangem have hogs, the box you are playing with online or in your house, needs to have their map edited exactly the same as you. It's not that hard to edit the same, but finding another person who has a modded box, and who is quick, and can talk to you before the game to establish the map edits, and all of the above, is what makes it difficult. As soon as I learned how to hack without a chip, I talked to my HALO XBC buddies on AIM and asked them if they saw "happy hacking" yet. They said, "YEAH, IT'S AWESOME!!!" so I said, well, do you want to be able to do all of those things and tons more? Well they said "Yeah, but I can't afford a modchip, and I dont wanna ruin my box." So I tells em how easy it is and I make a deal with them. I say, "If you go out to the mall right now, buy an Action Replay and a second NIC, I'll walk you through the process. But if you don't go now, you're on your own."(they each already have mechassault) So both of these guys go out, drop the cash and come back. Three hours later we got a 3-box hacked game going on. Seriously, it ruled. I had to walk them through it step-by step, but now I have two buddies who can host hacked games with me and we can have hella fun :) I had to slip hella in there :) Ahem, so anyway, yes, you need to both have the hacks running or the boxes will not "synch"
