Since we just covered this today....
it isnt really centripetal is it? Centripetal pushes INWARD, to the halo's "axis"... and its not centrifugal force either, because that is a nonexistant force :)
Inertia keeps it inplace, as it tries to move tangent to the axis of rotation but is blocked by the "walls" of the Halo. Is that centripetal? The force of inertia against the Halo's counter force?
