Yeah, you're right there (I kinda went on a tangent halfway through my post :D). I agree with everything until the last paragraph: I think the pfhor stole a portion of their tech from jjaro sites, but grew fearful of the stuff following the Drinniol slave revolt: that's why they spend three games trying to kill rather than capture you... True, you are captured in M2, but that is under the direct instructions of Tycho.
