: Wouldn't this take a lot of work? Remember this is a hard copy verison not
: the original electronic files. Standard scanning will get you simple
: images of the page. OCR scanning combined with standard scanning will get
: you text and images but there would still be a lot of work in getting them
: looking like the original hard copy. I doubt many people will invest the
: time in doing this. Just my 2 cents.

(laughs at silly Hamish)

Remember, you're talking to people who sit up an extra seven hours every night to find out what a string of random letters found in a seven year old game mean. You're talking to people who actually SPEND TIME wondering why there is a letter on the main page of the story pages that wasn't there yesterday. You're talking to people who sat down for two months and deciphered a set of seven circles with extremely obscure images and numbers that would mean nothing to 99% of the Earth's population. I think creating a PDF file out of a hintbook is baby food for hoever buys/bought it. ;)

by the way, is the Marathon Scrapbook on the net somewhere? Just writing this made me want to make a PDF file! ok, I don't have a scanner at all, but at least I could sit down and type all the text into a text document =)
