I can reliably clear out the initial part of the level : about 10% of the time. That's still a low number, but not hopeless. Once I : jump down into the "pit", however, there's no shield regenerator : for a while and the pattern buffer is hard enough to get to. 10% of 10% is : only 1% and I just don't have that kind of patience. Putting a : non-functioning pattern buffer in the first part of the level was an : incredibly crule trick - unless there is a secret way to activate it. : Here's hoping . . . I,myself have not played Marathon Evil.Yet I knoe hellalotta bout Marathon 1,2 and 3. All I would like to know about this level is if this pattern buffer is on top of a ledge which cannot reach,or if it just dosn't function,yet is in reach. I have a hangtime guide which could teach you to jump,fly,climb ect. It can teach u many things about jumping in marathon.(seems it is harder to jump in marathon than any other polygonal game 3D game.)
