	In Response To: Well, crap.... (Theocracity) Get it? Rampant? Warning: All of the dodgy theories in this post rely on even dodgier theories. You have been warned. I've always thought the Marine's memories of his childhood were implanted. The Marine seems to have no relization of his true nature until Marathon Infinity... he doens't even know that he's a cyborg, let alone that he's Destiny. Obviously, some one went to great lengths to keep the Marine's past... and his capablilities... a secret. But who? The UESC? Surely they wouldn't want to publicize their secret weapons, when the whole point of them is that they mix in with normal humans. They certainly wouldn't want anyone to know if they've been using dodgy Jjaro technology. Wait a second! Where the hell did the UESC get Jjaro technology, then? In PiD, the nuclear device merely stuns the Sleeping God, right? The Jjaro were going to come and take more permanant measures. Maybe they left something behind. Perhaps the Jjaro forsaw the coming of the W'rknancter (sp), so they took the man who succeded against the Sleeping God, and gave him the tools necessary to defeat the W'rkythingamajig, i.e., time travel and dimension hopping, then sent him forward in time with implanted memories, where he was recruited into the UESC and made into a cyborg? Those wacky Jjaro!
