Aye most people think this is the Dreaming God but this is the imprisoned Demon that Muller was looking for. Friedrich spills the beans about the glass vial and the Demon on Happy Happy Carnage Carnage. The Hint Book confirms that this is the Demon or "Flaming Smokey Dude". See the level "Ok, Who Else Wants Some?" on the PID page for details. So did the Dreaming God really exist?

I'm not aware of any specific symbol under the Demon. The floor and ceiling areas on that level use a hieroglyph-like texture. The blue rune on Ground Floor is larger and more distinct.
