In Response To: Volunteers: Hang Brain (Mark Levin) An odd thing happened to me as I was playing through this level again. I had gotten to the inner ring and was starting to unload on all those soft (or so I imagine them to be in the twisted corridors of my mind which thinks about such things) Pfhor bodies with shotguns akimbo, when something happened to me that had never happened before. My computer froze. I hovered slightly off the ground, one shotgun whirling back to reload (probably via teleportation, but I don't want to get into that in this string), the other just about to turn a hapless Pfhor (staring at me with those beady little red eyes like three small bullseyes) into so much hamburger, suspended in a state of poetic carnage ("For all the carnage here, the stench of decay is non-existent.") like some neo-surrealist portrait. Enough. For those who might help me, I was running it on a 2001 iBook with 192MB of RAM running Mac OS 9.2.1. On TC of course, though I doubt that would affect anything related to my problem. |
