One thing to think about is that there has been speculation that the "sleeping god" in the Yucatan that you were sent to blow up a nuclear device on is a W'rkacnter (sp?). And you're sent to detonate a device to put a W'r...whatever to sleep (or keep it asleep, or whatever; I've never played PID much), and in that screenshot, you achieved your goal, but were caught in the blast. Here, in Infinity, the Pfhor's goal is to put the trih xeem into Lh'owon's sun. They succeed, incidentally waking up a W'hat'ever, and are caught in the blast...interesting parallels.
