In Response To: Volunteers: Where are Monsters in Dreams (Mark Levin)

ydnar said that Ne Cede Malis was "fear in a bottle".

He also said he hated that quote, but that's beside the point.

Ne Cede Malis isn't fear in a bottle. It's uncertainty in a bottle.

The uncertainty ferments throughout the next levels, as more and more of what you know to be true in the Marathon universe is undone.

By Where are Monsters in Dreams, this mixture is a rich brew of fear.

You run throught the hallways and the big empty rooms, dodging shots from half glimpsed shadows, oh god, the bridge is down... no where to hide...

Midlands: Unfunny in a bottle
