: I must admit I'm playing on Normal, but I had the excuse of Marathon's bugs
: under OS X. Marathon 2 is immune to this, so now I guess I have to play
: like a man :P

: There's also the consideration that I don't want these runs to take too much
: time, nor do I want the game to be so outrageously hard that I get stuck
: or start taking shortcuts. Look at it this way, at least I'm not on
: Kindergarden :P

You also lose something playing the hardest difficulty. Like the earlier example with wasps of different kinds lined up on each end of the room.

You don't have the feeling of having to aim for that one "nasty purple one" before he takes you out because EVERY fighter's that way ;-)

Of course, some parts in Myth 2 are actually (IMO) harder to take on in normal ;-) It's a LOT harder to get enemies to berserk because they only fire one or two shots at you ;-) I use about three times the ammo.
