	In Response To: Date Inconsistencies (Bachus) The Marathon had teleporters, but was not FTL capable. The human ships in Halo are FTL capable. From what we've seen, I doubt there are human teleporters in Halo. If Halo took place before the construction of the Marathon, why didn't they have FTL drives later on? If Halo takes place afterwards, you would think they would have teleporters in Halo. I've seen teleporters in Halo, but those are most definitely not of human origin. Originally, I thought that perhaps Halo predated the Marathon series, and that humans obtained some of their more advanced technologies from what was discovered on the Halo. However, the whole FTL thing sort of blows this out of the water. I'm sure there are plenty of plot devices that could be used to explain the indiscrepancies, but from the currently available info, there is no way to line up the two plots.
