	In Response To: Marathon&Halo Timeline Gymnastics. (Dispatcher) I have heard implications that Strauss was on the side of the Martian Rebellion on the story before. The Marathon might either have been a prison or an arc (like Noah's Arc) for people that were supportive of the Martian Wars. This might be the reason that the Marathon was built with a drive that wasn't faster than light. This drive would get rid of all of the people that earth didn't want for 300 years. Or, if it is an 'arc' for them it could be all that they could afford. Either way I believe that there was no attempt to make contact with the Marathon when the Covenant attacked; in case there would turn out to be the last human survivors. Just a thought -Rah
