: Yes, a Compiler :) I think that the Compiler screwed up while hacking the
: terminal and an alert was broadcast over the Marathon's network, getting
: into your terminal and overriding the briefing.

Interesting point. There is a Compiler associated with the terminals on Arrival and Bigger Guns Nearby which display security breaches. Of course the security breach on Never Burn Money isn't at a terminal. Ok so someone screwed up... but they also dropped us a clue to the existence of the secret Gheritt White terminal.
