In Response To: Volunteers -- arrival (Grasshopper)

: Arrival reminds me a lot of Ne Cede Malis in its general
: construction.

Randy Reddig has named Arrival as an inspiration behind NCM, for what he called "fear in a bottle". This is in the What's In A Name section somewhere.

: It really gives the sense of being in the middle
: of nowhere, fighting alone on a ship overun by aliens. Scary.

This is also the only M1 level with a large "outdoor" area, that lets you see across to different parts of the ship. Another great moment is when you see the fighters standing guard in the lower room, and they wake up and run out of sight, then come down the corridor after you.
