i don't know about any techno/metal bands i think, well not many. and i can't think of any right now. Oh and soundgarden, Soft and powerful. That is what i love. Tool, well they sound like one band in one song and like totally another band in other song, for example Schism and Prison Sex, Prison Sex sounds... well like it sounds while Schism sounds like almost like the band Tyr, if you don't know what band it is then it is a metal band that mixes metal and norwegian folks songs together or something like that. It comes out really cool.
