	In Response To: Re: The Timeline, Bob, and You (SneakyPete) I in no way claim to be any sort of real mathmatician, that section of my brain having been cruely cut out and eaten by monkeys at birth... but my trusty apple menu calculator tells me that 92 lights years = 8.703936E14kms This means that the marathon would have to cover, on average, 2.8916731E12kms per year, if it was a 301 year trip. There's 8760 hours in a year... meaning the marathon would have to be travelling at an average speed of 330099647.53km's an hour or 91694.346536 per second (almost a 1/3 the speed of light!). Of course This is just an average, it had to go from zero and back again over the course of the trip, so to make the journey their would have been a point where it was actually going much faster! This is starting to bend the rules of the universe a bit here? How did it not get squashed into some sort of BOB pancake by it's own accelatory mass? Does anyone with a real working knowledge of physics want to work out what kind of acceleration/decceleration G force this would have required? And probably redo the figures... don't trust mine =P [t]
